Shelby bought in to Don’s Diesel Service back in the 1970’s. He was already in the timber business, and this added a shop that would make repairs to his equipment and trucks. The business sold equipment, sold parts, and made repairs to equipment. Shelby was happy to welcome his son, Bobby, as a business partner in the new Deer Creek Forestry adventure.
